    Selectek is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager to support production activities for supplied parts and be involved with suppliers to ensure receipt of a quality part and to satisfy the needs of customers, production, and cost improvement opportunities.

    Job Responsibilities:

    Ensures the incoming inspection according to company standards.

    Manages supplier issues using 8D/QRQC methodology and build robust supplier answers, including Engineering Change Request follow-up when needed.

    Attend MRB and manage supplier corrective actions (Deviations, 8D, Quality alerts).

    Provide support to production quality for supplied part-related issues.

    Track the cost of the supplier's problems according to RTV (Return to Vendor) procedure.

    Provide input into monthly report of top problems and actions at suppliers.

    Support component part inspections and tracking plans.

    Clarify and resolve print specification issues between suppliers and Engineering.

    Conduct Periodic Quality reviews with suppliers for continuous improvement.

    Support other facilities for the validation of 8D at suppliers.

    Review ECN's (existing parts) and implement applicable actions.

    Provide support as needed to supplier quality development for new parts, to schedule assembly testing, inspections etc.

    Coordinates inspection activities made by an external third-party vendor, as needed, for parts supplied to company.

    Supervision of Quality Technicians.

    Conduct Periodic Quality reviews with suppliers for continuous improvement.

    Provide input into monthly report of top problems and actions at suppliers.

    Required:

    Experience with casting and forging shops. Specifically general casting and forging knowledge with regards to material, common defects and common methods of manufacturing as well.

    Experience with machine shops. Specifically precision machining of casting and forging with regards to material, common defects and common methods of manufacturing as well.

    Proficient in ISO requirements, APQP, PPAP.

    Basic SPC and GD&T Knowledge

    Pay range: $90,000 - $120,000 depending one experience
