    In this position, you will be accountable for preparing and presenting a scratch menu emphasizing fresh and local ingredients for restaurant service, banquets, and events. Adhere to the guidance of the culinary leadership team in upholding the utmost standards of food quality, taste, and presentation. You will directly report to the Chef de Cuisine, Sous Chef, and Jr. Sous Chef.

    The perfect candidate will be a collaborative team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a professional full-service kitchen is essential. Prior experience in an upscale dining establishment and completion of an apprenticeship program or culinary school is preferred.

    Role Details:

    Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve all food items, including hot and cold, for all meal periods in the outlets, banquets, and/or catering menus according to property recipes and standards.
  • Ensure food meets the quality, taste, and appearance standards of DMC.
  • Check and complete mise en place and pars to set-up the station.
  • Support chef with inventory and ordering.
  • Maintain a working knowledge of properly storing, rotating, and maintaining products.
  • Execute all duties in accordance of DMC, Servsafe, and health department standards.
  • Maintain walk-in coolers and food storage areas on a daily basis.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.
  • Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:

  • Required to work, days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Required to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds – Frequently
  • Required to push and/or pull 90+ pounds and lift up to 90 pounds with assistance – Occasionally
