Lab Assistant 1 will assist with a combination of field and lab-based activities such as the establishment and maintenance of experiments, and preparation of standardized media, reagents, and solutions from formulas for clinical, research, or extension use.
The Lab assistant will also keep laboratory facilities clean and sanitary, order laboratory equipment and supplies, keep records, set up and maintain equipment such as fume hoods, fans, emergency lights, etc., and assist in the assembly, testing, and operation of complex laboratory equipment.
The full salary range for the Lab Assistant 1 is $ $22.49 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is $19.43 per hour.We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.
