    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Title: General Manager.

    Reports to: President.

    Mission of the position:

    The General Manager will assume a central role in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our company. Working closely with the Owner and President, this role will oversee all facets of business acquisition and future operations, ensuring seamless coordination and optimization across various departments.

    Responsibilities:

    • Lead office management and corporate operations to maintain organizational efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Manage supply chain, vendors, and procurement activities to ensure timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
    • Oversee product lines, inventory management, and additional services to meet customer demands and enhance profitability.
    • Develop and implement marketing, promotion, and sales strategies in collaboration with the sales team to drive revenue growth.
    • Maintain financial stability and operational efficiency through sound financial management and operational oversight.
    • Direct retail operations to enhance customer satisfaction and maximize profitability.

    Requirements:

    • 5 or more years of relevant experience in a leadership role.
    • Experience in the construction industry, particularly in governmental, municipal, heavy civil, and commercial sectors.
    • In-depth knowledge of MWBE (Woman Owned & Minority Enterprise) qualification and operations.
    • Familiarity with the building & materials supply business in the northeast region.
    • Proficiency in bidding processes, especially governmental bidding.
    • Strong networking skills within the construction industry to promote business growth and services.
    • Experience in sales, B2B/B2G selling, and negotiation.
    • Expertise in procurement, product line buying, vendor, and supplier management.
    • Comprehensive understanding of business operations.

    Compensation: Salary, plus bonus based on company growth goals and profits.

    Location: Montgomery, NY

    Work modality: Onsite.
