Job Description:
Quality Electric of the Coastal Carolinas is seeking a motivated individual to join our Charleston, SC Team as a skilled Electrician with a strong understanding and background in the electrical field. Quality Electric is one of the largest electrical contractors in South Carolina. Headquartered in the Charleston, area, we have offices in Columbia, Myrtle Beach and the Bluffton/Savannah area.
Responsibilities:

• Understanding and applying blueprints and technical diagrams
• Installing commercial recessed lighting and fixtures
• Retrofitting outdated lighting with energy-efficient options
• Repairing and maintaining electrical panels
• Diagnosing and fixing problems in wiring or electrical components
• Inspecting systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes
• Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in homes
• Adhering to state and local building regulations
• Documenting the work completed and materials used

General Requirements:

• 5+ year experience in the electrical field - Commercial Electrical preferred
• Must have a valid driver's license with a 3-year clear driving record
• Troubleshooting skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to adapt
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Comply with all company policies and procedures

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to ascend/descend stairs and ladders
• Ability to move oneself in confined spaces
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance

Compensation:

• Full - Time
• Salary: $25.00 hourly - $30.00 hourly, based on experience.
