Job summary
The Medical Records Clerk is responsible for assembling, organizing and maintaining patients' health information and charts. You will perform basic administrative operational customer support and data-entry tasks primarily working on routine structured assignments.- Ensure all medical forms are identified completed and signed
- Enter required patient information into the electronic records system
- Communicate with physicians and staff to clarify diagnoses or obtain additional information
- Assign codes to diagnoses and procedures
