Systems Administrator

PTFS is a leading provider of enterprise content management solutions, content digitization, and library services, catering to over 500 organizations worldwide.

We are currently seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Systems Administrator at PTFS, you will play a key role in enhancing and maintaining our infrastructure, deployment processes, and overall system performance across our AWS, Azure, and on-premises environments. Responsibilities:

Architect and oversee infrastructure on AWS, Azure, and on-premises, encompassing networks, Virtual Machines, databases, and more.
Conduct advanced system administration and troubleshooting tasks on Linux and Windows platforms.
Monitor system performance, health metrics, and logs to ensure smooth operations.
Identify and resolve issues within the infrastructure and deployment pipelines.
Collaborate closely with software engineers to align infrastructure with application needs.
Constantly enhance infrastructure reliability, efficiency, monitoring procedures, and deployment strategies.
Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry best practices.
Three days per week on-site. Available for on-call duty, weekend assignments, and after-hours support as required.

Mandatory Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Systems Administrator or equivalent role.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, with hands-on experience in EC2, ECS, RDS, VPC, S3, and related services.
Familiarity with monitoring tools and log analysis.
Strong skills in Linux administration and scripting.
Experience in managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting MySQL databases.
Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and align technology with business objectives.
A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is a must.

Preferred Requirements:

Develop CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, building, and deployment of applications.
Hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, CircleCI, TravisCI, etc.
Proficiency in administering Oracle DB systems.
Experience in managing Microsoft Active Directory and Group Policy.
Skilled in administering on-premises virtualization technologies.
Knowledge of configuration management tools such as Ansible.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.

Eligibility:
