Ecolab, the global leader of premium cleaning, sanitizing and maintenance products and services for the hospitality, institutional and industrial markets is seeking a **Forklift Operator (Logistics Associate)**. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, preparation, and shipping of all customer orders. Additionally, the role is responsible for accurate material handling and cycle count functions. * **Plant location:** Greensboro, NC

**Compensation package offered:** $17/hour (additional $0.75/hour for night shift

**Week and shift:** 12 Hour Non-Rotating Shift (2 on, 3 off; 2 on, 2 off; 3 on, 2 off): Night Shift: 6:00pm - 6:00am, Day Shift: 6:00am-6:00pm

**What You Will Do:**

Train and qualify to safely operate various pieces of industrial lift equipment (forklift, manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach truck, and propane lift)

Utilize RF scan devices and on board computers move, label, store and/or ship finished product from production lines into specified locations in Warehouse and make entries into the Warehouse Management System so that inventory accuracy is assured

Supply production lines with materials required to produce finished product in a timely fashion and maintain inventory accuracy

Properly receive, unload and store incoming materials or deliver directly to lines

Examine all packaging and contents of items for conformance to customer specifications and verifies all information against the packing list and SAP

Complete pre-load inspections and verify quantities and quality of product prior to loading trailers for shipment

Actively participate in safety initiatives as well as other opportunities to improve quality and productivity

**Minimum Qualifications:**

High school diploma or G.E.D. required

One year forklift experience in a plant or warehouse setting

Prior experience with SAP and/or RF scanners

Must be able to accurately perform basic mathematical calculations

Must be able to follow both written and verbal directions

Must be able to work overtime and weekends on a regular basis

**Physical Demands:**

Must be able to lift/carry 50lbs

Must be able to pass a drug screen and ph ysical exam

**Preferred Qualifications:**

Previous experience using bar code scanners, warehouse management systems and SAP

Be able to properly utilize a manual pallet jack, electric pallet jack, reach lift, sit-down forklift, and/or stand-up counter-balance
