- Assist and regularly assess and streamline the process for facility maintenance requests to be resolved within an adequate time frame;
- Deliver a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times;
- Assist in groundskeeping if the facility contains lawns or other outdoor areas in need of maintenance;
- Maintain documentation of all work performed on Rod's House properties and vehicles.
- Attend all work related meetings as needed.
- Complete all expenditure reports on a weekly basis.
- Carpentry ability to handle basic repairs at all sites
- Attention to detail to ensure that all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs or problems are not overlooked.
- Physical stamina to handle a full shift of being active and working on the buildings
- Complete other duties as assigned.
- Assist with ongoing maintenance for each vehicle on a regular basis (e.g. Oil changes, Tire rotations/replacement, Unexpected vehicle repairs);
- Assist with the distribution of in-kind items to all service sites;
- Assist the donation center Program Coordinator as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent (required);
- Experience with repairs and maintenance-related work (required);
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools (required);
- Dedication to promoting an inclusive and diverse workplace through competency in equity, race, social justice, differently-abled, and LGTBQ+ identities (required);
- Bilingual (Spanish-English) (strongly preferred);
- Experience working with individuals who have experienced trauma, specifically severe mental illnesses and substance use disorders (preferred);
- Lived experience relevant to the population served (preferred).
- Starting hourly wage is $19.06 per hour;

Job DescriptionOverview
The Facilities Coordinator's primary responsibility is supporting the Facilities Team through the strategic creation and implementation of facilities-related procedures aimed at supporting all Rod's House programs, services, and sites, including but not limited to inventory and distribution of all in-kind donations, completing repairs and maintenance requests, and engaging the community.

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements
Shifts include overnight, evening, and early mornings including holidays. This position requires daily interactions with youth experiencing homelessness and with community members, social service providers, and other organizations. Physical requirements for the position include frequent walking, hearing, seeing, speaking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, grasping, climbing, and repetitive motions. This position requires exerting up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, pull, or move objects.
