Description
Diagnostic Imaging is looking for an experienced SoftwareProduct Manager
to join our team to execute business strategy across an impactful portfolio of software products, including IDEXX Web PACS (picture archiving and communication system).
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, enthusiastic, and customer-focused professional to contribute to our rapidly growing business to enhance our customers' experience and advance our product position in the market, all while being part of a high-performing, engaged team.
In this role, you will:
Be responsible for the development, management, and execution of multiple areas of our product roadmaps, with strategies targeted at delivering value to both our customers and IDEXX
Communicate directly with customers to gain feedback on user product experiences and opportunities
Gather insights to shape the direction of the product(s): identify customer needs and market trends, research competitor products, and understand technology advancements in related markets
Develop and manage product requirements, manage areas of product backlog(s) and shared prioritization tools
Manage complex projects to maintain and improve products, coordinating internal resources to ensure products are completed and delivered on schedule and are positioned for commercial success
Prepare/present reports and other information summarizing work activities and various analyses as needed to highlight issues, resolve questions, and regularly inform business and executive leadership
Support Commercial Marketing and Business Operations partners in pricing strategies, research initiatives, and development of sales enablement tools
Create and lead presentations, conduct demos, contribute to white papers and additional product updates for organizational marketing materials
Contribute to strategic direction for product lines consistent with overall Line of Business strategy and IDEXX missions
Promote/train product advantages and benefits to IDEXX employees, key vendors, and other partners
Participate in outside industry groups and forums related to product or business activities
What You Will Need to Succeed:
Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams to define, deliver, and support our products
A strategic mindset to identify and prioritize initiatives having the greatest impact on our customers and business
Strong technical aptitude for system and application integration and communication
Deep understanding of the customer and competitive ecosystems; DICOM/PACS/Imaging experience is a plus
Experience working within Agile (Scrum) framework for software development; CSPO a plus
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities in various stages of completion
Robust reasoning, analytical, and critical thinking skills to resolve issues and perform prioritization exercises
Initiative, creativity, and focus to define unknowns, complete projects, or resolve issues with minimal guidance
Organization, with the ability to manage multiple projects and data sets at once
Influencing skills to gain alignment on decisions and ensure focused support for the product line(s)
Understanding of segmentation/targeting, product positioning/pricing, and forecasting/promotion
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written
Bachelor's degree / advanced degree in technology or business or 5-7 years of product management experience
