    SpineSearch is seeking a highly motivated physician assistant to join a leading medical center in their neurosurgery department. This provider will be managing complex stroke and cerebrovascular disease patient care. There will be extensive training provided.

    Requirements of the Physician Assistant:

    • New York Physician Assistant license
    • Board certification
    • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team

    Responsibilities of the Physician Assistant:

    • Conducts physical exams, assesses health status, orders, and interprets tests, prescribes medications, and treats illnesses including giving injections.
    • Support neuro-endovascular procedures in operating room setting
    • Take a patient's medical history/record demographics
    • Order and interpret tests
    • Conduct physical examinations
    • Diagnose and treat illnesses
    • Write prescriptions
    • Counsel patients on preventative care
    • Involves outpatient clinic and OR

    Job Type:
    Full-time


    Pay:
    $135, $175,000.00 per year
