- Work closely with our clients' executives and management to drive financial objectives, provide timely accounting data and reports, and drive key financial objectives.
- Manage the month-end accounting close process and ensure accurate and timely results are delivered in accordance with GAAP.
- Review and analyze client financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and issues that will impact the business and present those to leadership with data to support decision making.
- Understand proper internal controls and make practical recommendations to improve our clients' systems of controls.
- Work closely with business leaders as a trusted partner and valued advisor providing excellent customer service.
- Ensure project timelines and goals are met while providing value-added recommendations to improve the business.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related Business area
- 10+ years of professional experience in public accounting and industry serving mid-size to large corporations
- Deep knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Expertise in general ledger accounting, month-end close, financial statements, reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- Experience working in multiple large ERP systems
- Master's Degree
- CPA, CMA, CGMA
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build relationships and trust across all levels of the organization
