    Job Summary:

    The Senior Security Analyst will support the IT Security Team by providing robust information security administration with a specialization in Azure cloud environments.

    This role involves configuring and operating essential Azure security services, collaborating on cloud-based projects, monitoring threats, investigating incidents, and developing security principles and standards.

    Essential Duties:

    • Azure Security Operations: Configure, operate, and manage Azure security services to safeguard cloud assets and data.
    • Collaboration and Project Involvement: Work alongside IT and Information Security teams on Azure-specific projects and initiatives to support secure and scalable deployments within the cloud.
    • Vulnerability Management: Consult with IT teams to identify and remediate vulnerabilities within Azure environments, ensuring timely and effective risk mitigation.
    • Threat Monitoring and Incident Identification: Monitor Azure threat management systems to identify and assess potential security incidents or breaches within cloud systems.
    • Incident Investigation and Response: Investigate, analyze, and escalate security incidents related to Azure environments as needed, coordinating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues swiftly.
    • Security Framework and Architecture Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of security principles, technical reference architectures, standards, baselines, and blueprints tailored for Azure, supporting a proactive and structured security posture.

    Requirements:

    • 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, Information Technology, and cloud security principles/concepts.
    • Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate, or similar Azure-focused certifications are preferred.
    • Additional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are advantageous.

    Compensation:

    $85,000-$100,000 per year, based on ideal candidate qualifications and company operational needs.
