    Symmetrio is recruiting for an Injection Molding Technician to join its client, a premier Philadelphia-based provider of injection molded plastic products. In this role, you will be pivotal in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment, ensuring peak production performance at all times. Responsibilities also include testing equipment and machinery after repairs, correcting electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic failures, and repairing/overhauling hydraulic equipment.

    *This is an onsite position based in Philadelphia, PA

    Responsibilities

    • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and operational issues with manufacturing equipment
    • Collaborate with support companies to identify and implement solutions for machine operation problems
    • Conduct thorough testing of equipment and machinery after repairs to ensure proper functionality
    • Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic failures
    • Perform regular maintenance, repairs, and overhauls on hydraulic equipment
    • Work closely with employees to identify and address maintenance issues proactively
    • Assist and support set-up crews in setting and starting production jobs, tooling, and secondary equipment
    • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and part replacements
    • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and production efficiency

    Requirements

    • Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician or similar role in a manufacturing environment
    • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
    • Proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
    • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems maintenance
    • Familiarity with plastic injection molding processes is a plus
    • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a relevant field is preferred
