    Job SummaryUnder general supervision and reporting to the Director of Quality Operations, the Special Process Engineer/Auditor is responsible for performing Special Process Audits, performing investigations, and corrective actions for special processes issues.

    Responsibilities and DutiesPerform Special Process Audits, investigations, and issue corrective actions for issues with special processes.
    Establish Special Process Audit elements, including creation and performance of checklists and schedule.
    Create reports of audit findings and categorize in accordance with customer requirements.
    Ensure containment actions and disclosures are performed when findings affect multiple parts or delivered products.
    Create and manage recurrence of audits to include metrics for processor performance.
    Ensure corrective actions are in place to prevent recurrence of anomalies identified during the audits or surveillance.
    Ensure compliance to applicable standards.
    Performs other duties as assigned.
    Some travel required.
    Knowledge OfSpecial processes including paint, welding, FPL etch, pre-penetrant etches, anodize, hardness and conductivity and chemical cleaning.

    Aerospace requirementsQuality Management Systems and performance metricsQualifications and SkillsHigh School Diploma; AS preferredAerospace experience preferred5 years' auditing and certified to perform audits, auditing certification preferred5 years' quality experience.

    Any combination of education and experience may be consideredIdentify and assess hazard and quality defect. Drive continuous improvement.

    Effectively work with production team and other members of quality team to develop and maintain a robust and effective quality system.

    Always follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible.

    Communicate with other departments regarding actions taken to resolve non-conformancesEstablish and maintain effective working relationshipsPerform AuditsSystems and performance metricsStrong collaborative skills with attention to detailStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Word, Microsoft ExcelUS Citizenship required.

    Pay Range:
    $40.00 to $50.00 per hour.
