    Life Science Outsourcing, Inc (LSO) is a contract manufacturer of medical devices with in-built capabilities to offer clients full-service solutions through our six divisions.

    Clients rely on LSO to perform all activities required to introduce their products to market, from sourcing to drop shipping.

    In January of 2023 LSO acquired J-Pac Medical (www.j-), a Medical Device Contract Manufacturer based out of New Hampshire to expand LSOs geographic reach in the medical device arena.

    Due to the recent acquisition and with over 25 years of growth, we are currently seeking a self-motivated Material Handler with a good positive energy to join our team at the New Hampshire Facility in Somersworth.

    Job DescriptionBASIC FUNCTION Loads and unloads trucks, stores, and moves materials within the warehouse as directed by the Warehouse/Logistics Supervisor and/or the Supply Chain ManagerESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Receiving - Unloads all incoming material shipments. Counts, examines, and verifies that the shipments are complete and undamaged. Completes receiving log entries. Segregates incoming materials from other items until QC inspects and approves the shipment. Communicates directly with QC, Accounting, Planning, Production and Purchasing. Organizes and stocks warehouse storage areas. Enters receipts into system including quantity and lot number.
    • Work Order/Pick-List Pull - Pulls materials required for production work orders. Examines, counts and verifies the completeness of material being pulled.
    • Shipping - Examines, counts, and verifies the completeness of materials being shipped. Responsible for palletizing, or otherwise configuring material shipments for safe transport. Processes UPS, FedEx, and other shipping requests. Completes shipping log entries.
    • Dispatch - Communicates directly with shipping companies to arrange pickups and deliveries.
    • Warehouse Maintenance - Responsible for keeping the warehouse clean and orderly. Arranges stock so that materials are used according to date received (FIFO). Keeps material containers closed and replaces damaged containers. Ensures that all materials are organized and separated according to Quality System Procedures.
    Qualifications

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
    • High School diploma or equivalent
    • Bilingual in Spanish is helpful but not required.
    • Must possess basic mathematical skills.
    • Must possess ability to solve basic problems without help and follow instructions.
    • Forklift experience with an operator's certificate.
    • Hazardous material handling certificate is a plus.
