    Under the general supervision of a Tax Administrator I, the Senior Tax Compliance Representative, (STCR) in the Tax Processing and Accounting Division's (TPAD), School Employees Fund (SEF) Unit within the Account Management Group (AMG) acts as a technical expert in the SEF unit.

    The STCR uses a high degree of judgment and extensive knowledge of the California Unemployment Insurance Code (CUIC) as it pertains to the SEF employer accounts, Legislative requirements for SEF, Departmental regulations, and procedures and policies in the processing of workloads related to maintaining the SEF accounts within the Department's Accounting and Compliance Enterprise System (ACES) and the Wage Gathering System (WGS).

    The incumbent represents the EDD, in partnership with the Unemployment Insurance Branch, in the biannual conferences held with the School Employer Advisory Committee and the Unemployment Insurance Technical Subcommittee, In addition, the incumbent leads and participates in the annual rating process, prepares financial statements, and fund forecast.

    "This position is headquartered in Downtown Sacramento and may be eligible for telework under EDD's telework policy. California Government Code Section 14200 requires employees to reside in California to telecommute. Employees are required to report to their headquarters office, as needed. Travel expenses to and from the assigned headquarters are the responsibility of the employee."

    Background Investigation Requirement
