    Your ImpactHearst Magazines is seeking an experienced Executive Sales Director to join the Beauty, Wellness, and Retail Pod focused on generating ad revenue for key accounts across all 25+ brands within the Hearst portfolio.

    This position reports into the Category Lead and is responsible for driving revenue across our multi-media landscape of digital, social, and print.

    Our ideal candidate is a self-starter who operates as a strategic advisor to their clients and is comfortable navigating highly matrixed organizations.

    Success in this role requires a focus on relationship building, client education, determination, and extreme attention to detail that will drive results.

    ResponsibilitiesWhat You'll DoManage your designated account list with top clients and provide revenue projections on a quarterly cadenceEffectively communicate clients' key KPIs to cross-functional partners in marketing, research, content, and talent in response to RFPs and develop proactive client proposals Execute sales tactics, implement marketing strategies, and deliver effective sales presentations to senior client and agency leadsProvide strong knowledge of key distribution platforms (Digital, Programmatic, Social, Print) that are top priorities for your respective category and help our customers navigate integrated platform opportunitiesProvide valuable feedback to management including specific category solutions to improve sales and marketing strategiesAchieve and exceed revenue quotas with solutions that speak to client needsQualificationsWho You Are7+ years of relevant media and sales experience working with highly matrixed accountsAnalytical, strategic thinker, creative problem solver, and resourceful A self-starter who instinctively takes charge has a positive 'team player' approach who is comfortable in a dynamic and rapidly evolving environmentRelationship builder, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbalDeep industry contacts and extensive relationships with client and agency partners in the beauty and retail industriesAn individual who works well within a corporate and creative environmentSuperior attention to detail and timely follow-through is criticalThis role requires the position to be located in New York, NY with an in-office presence of 3 days a week.

    The base salary for this role is between $163,000 to $195,000 annually.

    The actual base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as:
    transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
