Network Operations Center Technician located in Downers Grove, IL

What you'll do:
- Proactively monitor infrastructure associated with the network, server, and telecom environments.
- Identify and escalate alerts, incidents or problems requiring urgent action.
- Monitor and review data backups.
- Create, update, and distribute operational reports.
- Consult and maintain an internal knowledge base.
- Verify compliance with conventional guidelines, processes, and policies.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair infrastructure hardware and software.
- Assist with patch management.
- Install and configure computer hardware.
- Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements.
What you need to have:
- Associates degree Information Technology, Computers, or related experience with a focus systems infrastructure
- 3+ years of experience working within IT infrastructure to include the administration, support, and implementation of servers.
- 3+ years of experience in the areas of virtualization, security, networks, databases, and storage assets.
- The ability to thrive in a team environment.
- Great communication skills.
