    Description

    Introduction

    The Department of Consumer Protection is now accepting applications from agency employees for a position within The Drug Control Division, overseeing compliance and enforcement of drug laws in Connecticut. Responsibilities include managing various programs and monitoring pharmacy compliance.

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

    • Full-time, 40 hours per week
    • Hybrid telework schedules available
    • Location: 450 Columbus Blvd, Hartford, CT

    THE ROLE: The Drug Control Principal Agent will oversee various duties including training, supervising, and ensuring compliance with regulations.

    Selection Plan

    • To be considered, you must be a current State of CT employee for at least six months and meet the job qualifications. Educational credits must be from an accredited institution.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Experience following inspection and investigative procedures
    • Collaborating with intradepartmental employees and other state agencies
    • Prioritizing projects with competing deadlines
    • Analyzing and interpreting data
    • Managing workflow and delegating tasks

    SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

    • Must possess and retain a license as a registered Pharmacist in Connecticut
    • May be required to work evenings, nights, and weekends
    • May be required to travel
