    Gannett Fleming is looking for an experienced

    Wastewater Engineer

    and

    Project Manager

    offering strong technical and project

    management experience to join our

    Water Business Line

    in the Greater Philadelphia area.


    In this role you will use your technical and management abilities to plan, design and construct water/wastewater infrastructure in a dynamic team setting as well as to mentor junior staff.


    You will support business development activities and provide project management leadership of integrated teams to satisfy client requirements, including scope, schedule, budget, and quality while increasing our backlog, project revenue and profitability with current and new clients.

    Participate in and lead project teams in the planning, design and construction administration of municipal and industrial water and wastewater infrastructure facilities.

    Clients and projects may be in any locations in the Mid-Atlantic regions. Candidate must have the flexibility to travel within the region periodically to help serve GFs client base.
    Interact with clients including presentations and project coordination.

    Coordinate work activities by various technical staff and consultants including developing and implementing study and design standards for consultants to follow, leading progress meetings, preparing meeting agendas an d minutes, tracking project schedules, and budgets.

    Coordinate work activities and communicate with various municipalities and government regulating agencies.
    Oversee construction contract management and observation services
    Prepare reports and permit applications
    Supervise and mentor junior-level engineers
    Demonstrate professional technical writing and verbal skills
    Engage with in the engineering industry in general; especially in the water/wastewater industry

    :

    Bachelors of Science degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering

    10-20 years of experience required in water/wastewater discipline, particularly as a water/wastewater engineer designing (study, plans and specifications) water and/or wastewater infrastructure (i.e.

    treatment and collection/distribution projects)
    Professional Engineer License (PE)
    Progressive experience in the evaluation, design, permitting and construction administration of water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, water storage and distribution facilities, and wastewater collection system s
    Demonstrated project management experience including budget and schedule monitoring and control responsibilities
    Experienced in client relations and business development
    Experience with AutoCAD and/or BIM is preferred.
    Leader and team player possessing strong planning and organizational skills
    Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to conduct effective client presentations and written report preparation.
