    Description

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Acquiring ordered images and assessing them for technical quality. Sending images for interpretation to appropriate destinations.
    • Maintaining cleanliness and organization of work areas. Reporting any unsafe conditions. Ensuring X-ray equipment and other tools are in optimal working condition through regular maintenance.
    • Gathering patient history, addressing patient inquiries, and explaining procedures. Transporting patients to the radiographic room, preparing the room, and keeping it organized.
    • Performing radiographic examinations and documenting results, treatment plans, and progress reports.
    • Managing supply requests and inventory.

    Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) registration in Maryland
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Preference for an Associate degree
