This position will oversee production and is responsible for labor, productivity, quality, controls and safety during the assigned shift
Required Education and Experience:
Excellent English Communication Skills (oral and written)
Advance knowledge in computer software for windowsExcellent organizational, interpersonal and time management skillsUniversity in Engineering or Business Degree and/or Combination of Diploma with minimum 5 years of Management experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong leadership and problem solving skillsFamiliar with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and RegulationsKnowledge of automotive industry processes and operationsExperienced working in non-unionized environmentEssential Functions:
Supervise, train, and develop team members on the shift Monitor plant operationsCoordinate shift meetings to insure proper operations are maintained for quality, safety, production and delivery Ensure labor costs are kept within budgetAchieve goals and objectives that are set out each year by the Assistant General ManagerContribute to the continuous improvement initiatives on all aspects of the jobCompliance with Corporate policies and proceduresProvide timely reporting of key performance indicators to Management teamImprove relations between all departmentsImprove all aspects of the MMOG with the Materials GroupContribute to all 8D processes to improve and uphold Quality ratings

Physical Demands:
