Job summary
The BSA/AML Investigator is responsible for performing BSA/AML and OFAC Investigations of account activity, and recommending the filing of Suspicious Activity Reports, as appropriate. Along with the key functions listed below, this position will be expected to uphold the value that Washington Federal places on simply being kind when working alongside colleagues and servicing our clients.- Perform sanctions screening for customers and incoming and outbound payments.
- Investigate sanctions issues and provide recommendations as necessary.
- Draft and file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) consistent with FinCEN requirements.
