Job DescriptionElectrical Engineer 2 Newport News, VA Contract $35.18-$44.53/hr Researches, develops, designs, and tests electrical components, equipment, systems, and networks.

Designs electrical equipment, facilities, components, products, and systems for commercial, industrial, and domestic purposes.


Basic Qualifications:

Electrical Engineer 2Bachelors degree and 2 years experience OR Masters degree and 0 years experience OR PDP apprentice certificate and1 year of engineering experience.

Newport News Shipbuilding requires a Bachelors Degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program.


Special Requirements:
