    JOB SUMMARY:

    In this role, the Director of Consumer Lending will drive the achievement of consumer lending goals by spearheading our consumer and indirect lending division. The Director of Consumer Lending will oversee loan production, drive portfolio growth, and ensure member satisfaction. The Director of Consumer Lending will play a pivotal role in developing strategies for sales, originations, and operations, ensuring optimal service quality and efficiency in loan delivery. The Director of Consumer Lending's expertise will be invaluable as lending policies are refined, regulatory requirements are navigated, and data analytics and Artificial Intelligence (AI) are utilized to propel our consumer lending operations forward.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Work closely with the consumer lending management team as they engage with key business partners to meet market share and loan production goals and to ensure a competitive consumer lending product offering.
    • Develop, communicate, execute, and maintain effective strategies to meet market share, sales production, business development, quality, and lead and referral management goals. Ensure a high degree of personal ownership and accountability is felt by all team members within the span of control.
    • Understand member and consumer expectations, the employee experience, industry trends, and the competitive landscape to evaluate, refine, and optimize consumer loan solutions.
    • Continually evaluate sales and service quality by setting, maintaining, and monitoring benchmarks to measure efficiency, accuracy, and leverage current technology systems and processes.
    • Contribute to the development and maintenance of incentive compensation programs in close partnership with the consumer lending management team.
    • Develop and implement individual and departmental performance metrics. Ensure that individual and team performance tracking, reporting, feedback, and celebration occur.
    • Ensure a high degree of operational excellence with internal controls, regulatory compliance, and audit related matters, providing strategic leadership and guidance to the division.
    • Ensure that member concerns and complaints are promptly addressed, fulfilling all compliance and regulatory requirements. Maintain member contact documentation for the resolution of escalated member issues.
    • Communicate inclusively and transparently, aligning work in a manner that reinforces TVFCU's vision, mission, core values and goals.
    • Advance the utilization of data and analytics insight as a basis for evidenced-based decision making to improve sales, operations, and the member experience.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
