    IT Director
    Description


    We are looking for an Experienced IT Director to oversee IT personnel and all aspects of our company's information technology systems and infrastructure.

    You will develop and implement IT strategies, ensuring security of our systems and data, and identify and implement technology solutions to support our business objectives.

    You will manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the company's IT department, providing guidance and support. You will be responsible for the safety and security of data and equipment.
    Responsibilities for IT Director
    Oversee IT technology operations and network security and evaluate according to established goals
    Supervise IT staff providing direction, work instructions, guidance, and development opportunities
    Develop strategy as it relates to the organization's IT infrastructure (computer and information systems, security, communication systems)
    Develop, manage, and track the IT department's annual budget and goals
    Identify the need for upgrades, configuration or new systems
    Consult senior-level stakeholders across the entire company to identify business, growth and technology needs, optimize the use of information technology, and help build effective solutions
    Ensure smooth delivery and operation of IT services by monitoring and analyzing systems performance and making recommendations for improvements
    Create processes and standards for selection, implementation, and support of systems
    Establish and maintain network users and oversee installation, configuration, and maintenance of all software and hardware connected to the network
    Develop plan to streamline software platforms across the organization
    Ensure all digital initiatives comply with industry regulations and cybersecurity standards
    Asset inventory tracking and warranty management
    Identify technologies and trends that can improve operational efficiency
    Implement disaster recovery, backup procedures, information security and control structures

    Security Leadership:
    Provide strategic direction and leadership to establish and manage the overall information security strategy, vision, and goals for the organization

    Policy and Compliance:
    Develop and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance

    Risk Management:
    Identify and assess potential security risks and vulnerabilities, and implement effective risk mitigation strategies and controls

    Security Architecture:
    Design and implement a robust security architecture for the IT systems, networks, and applications, incorporating the latest security technologies and methodologies

    Incident Response:
    Lead incident response efforts in the event of a security breach, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to minimize impact and facilitate recovery

    Security Awareness:
    Develop and deliver security training and awareness programs for employees, promoting a culture of security consciousness across the organization
    Salary range for this role is $135,000 to $155,000; however, Calvary Robotics considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training and key skills

    Position Requirements

    Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
    8+ years of experience working in IT operations, supervising technology teams, and overseeing information technology projects
    Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications
    Excellent understanding of computer systems, security, network and systems administration, database management and data storage systems, backup/recovery, cloud-based technologies, and telecommunications systems
    Strong understanding of security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection / prevention systems, encryption, identity and access management, etc.
    Ability to manage both people and projects across the entire company and effectively communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise way
    Excellent leadership and decision-making skills
    Strong knowledge of project management principles
