Our Client, a Public Utility that provides natural gas and electricity to the majority of Michigan's 10 million residents is seeking a talented and self-driven individual for needs serving in the role of IT Project Manager.

This role does require experience in project management for IT projects and an understanding of agile methodology to successfully lead the project execution and delivery. Projects range from digital redesign, product design and testing, and supporting cross-functional team governance activities.

DUTIES:

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, and timelines
• Coordinate projects across multiple stakeholders for input, reviews and approvals
• Resolve progress barriers through collaboration and/or escalation as needed
• Identify milestones and manage timelines, as well as align related projects and workstreams
• Streamline communications, align schedules, and manage project resources
• Identify and minimize project risks through effective risk management
• Scheduling of meetings, and leading discussions of project milestones, requirements, and resources needed

Job Requirements

SKILLS:

• Bachelor of Science Degree or equivalent and 5+ years of work experience
• PMP or equivalent preferred
