Description:
As the Assistant Vice President of Product Management, your primary focus is on driving the successful implementation and performance of banking products.
This role demands a hands-on approach in executing strategies, optimizing processes, and ensuring the compelling value proposition and seamless delivery of banking products to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis:
Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities, assess competition, and recommend adjustments to product offerings.
Implementation Oversight:
Directly manage the execution of product strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timely delivery.
Operational Efficiency:
Streamline and optimize processes related to product development, launch, and ongoing management for maximum efficiency.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with operational teams, IT, marketing, and customer service to ensure coordinated efforts for successful product execution.
Quality Assurance:
Implement rigorous quality control measures to guarantee the reliability, security, and compliance of banking products.
Performance Metrics:
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of product execution and identify areas for improvement.
Issue Resolution:
Address any business challenges promptly, coordinating with relevant teams to find swift and effective solutions.
Training and Development:
Provide training and support to teams involved in product execution, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Product Management:
Desired proven experience in product development, launch, and lifecycle management within the banking sector.
Analytical Skills:
Proficient in data analysis and interpretation to drive informed decision-making and product improvements.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address business challenges and improve processes.
Communication Skills:
Effective communication skills to convey business requirements and updates to cross-functional teams.
Results-Driven:
A results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving and exceeding performance targets.
Innovative Thinking:
A creative mindset to identify and capitalize on market opportunities, driving continuous improvement in banking products.
Experience and Education:
Minimum 3 years experience that will provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
Language Skills
Native English and knowledge of Spanish and Portuguese is a plus.
