Responsibilities
The Ultrasound Technologist role entails understanding the professional scope of practice outlined in the California Business and Professional Code. Successful completion of the foundation's orientation period is required, demonstrating competence in skills and behaviors. Ultrasound Technologists are responsible for maintaining a clean, organized, and safe environment, delivering patient care services under the guidance of radiologists, Chief Tech, and management. Duties include preparing patients for exams, relaying instructions, collecting patient data, documenting concerns and care provided, and conducting diagnostic medical sonograms. Flexibility to work at various locations within the Greater Sacramento Area may be necessary.
