Description
LOCATION:
This is a Remote Work position.
The selected candidate may reside and perform work in any of the following states:
Michigan, Ohio, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas or Florida. No relocation benefit will be offered for this position.
Basic Purpose
This role performs the analysis needed to develop and modify applications. Additionally, this position designs testing plans from functional specifications as well as writing and testing the required programs. This position supports and maintains existing computer applications and also develops documentation for application users as needed.
Responsibilities
BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Plans information technology systems which provide system capabilities required for projected workloads.
Plans design and installation of new system or modification of existing system.
Performs systems and software analyses, development, implementation and administration based on consultation with system users to enhance overall company performance.
Trains system users on all major changes made to the applications that support the related area of the business.Answers customer inquiries regarding systems operations; diagnoses system hardware, software and operator problems and recommends or performs remedial actions to correct problems based on knowledge of system operation.
Manages multiple projects of the business with information systems resources.Leads department improvement activities (kaizen) which result in better, faster, cheaper IS services to internal customers.
Trains/leads programmers and senior programmers who help support the same applications.
Other duties as required.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's degree (computer-related field preferred) with 3 5 years of progressive professional experience
Experience with developing client server applications using MSSQL 2018; VB.Net; C#.Net and Azure DevOps
Web knowledge is a plus
Team oriented with excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to manage time and tasks efficiently
Strong attention to detail as well as outstanding organizational skills
