    Description

    Job Title

    Heavy Equipment Operator

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including checking oil levels and greasing machines.
    • Unload and load tri-axles, flatbeds, and lowboy trailers as required.

    Work Environment and Requirements

    Excavation work for industrial and commercial construction, pipe laying, trenching, setting drainage structures, parking lot demolition, and working above and below grade are all part of the job.

    The ideal candidate should have experience operating an excavator, skid-steer loader, bulldozer, forklift, and a desire to learn new machinery as opportunities arise.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • CT Hoisting license is preferred.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in heavy civil and industrial environments.
