    Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
    Essential functions may include the following tasks, knowledge, skills and other characteristics.

    Facilitates management team to identify and develop annual improvement plans consistent with and in support of the strategic plan and business operating plan.

    Identifies goals for continuous improvement events and potential quantifiable savings.
    Facilitates the selection, scope, and planning of specific improvement projects.

    Develops training materials and effectively deliver those materials in a team environment to ensure employees throughout the facility are trained in continuous improvement concepts and philosophy.

    Resolves implementation issues, creating and managing implementation communication, processes, and ensuring consistency of implemented processes and programs throughout facility.
    Manages and takes a lead role in promoting and improving quality processes, expectations, and results.
    Fosters the professional development of facility leads, supervisors, and manager related to a continuous improvement culture.
    Maintains standard work instructions, standard operating procedures, and 5S checklists.
    Develops and conducts Lean training for all employees.

    Coaches and mentors direct reports; assigns work according to availability, skills, and developmental needs; assesses performance and provides feedback to direct reports.

    Develops visual methods to measure improvement and monitor processes.
    Knows and enforces compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
    Drives and contributes to the department continuous improvement culture.
    Maintains confidentiality of all matters.
    Other duties as required.


    Education, Licensing, and Certifications:
    RequiredFour year college or university degree in Business or related field. or equivalent education and/or experience.
    PreferredMaster's degree in Business or related field.


    Experience:
    RequiredFive or more years of relevant experience.
    Experience with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
    Employee training experience.
    PreferredExperience in the oil and gas industry preferred.

    RequiredExcellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate at the leadership level.
    Strong math and analytical skills.

    Excellent supplier management skills.
    Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
