Over an intensive multi-week experience, students develop ideas across curated industries, validate concepts, build financial models, craft marketing strategies, and pitch to real judges from the business community.

Role Description

The SparkLab Program Coordinator is responsible for the end-to-end coordination and execution of the SparkLab program across participating school districts. This role owns program readiness, weekly execution, stakeholder coordination, and post-program follow-through to ensure a high-quality experience for students, teachers, mentors, judges, and donors.

This role is ideal for a highly organized, proactive professional who enjoys managing details, coordinating people, and supporting meaningful, real-world learning experiences for high school students.

Core Responsibilities

Pre-Program Planning & Setup

· Manage video modules and organize speaker guides

· Coordinate and prepare all program printouts and physical materials

· Support mentor planning for Week 4 and Week 7, including mentor coaching guides

· Manage Educational Google LMS setup, content organization, and ongoing upkeep

· Coordinate Professional Learning Day for teacher onboarding, confirming total student counts and participating schools

· Support keynote speaker preparation for Week 1 and Week 8

In-Program Execution & Coordination

· Coordinate keynote speaker delivery for Week 1 and Week 8

· Manage daily/weekly teacher and student feedback loop via email and surveys

· Collect and track student waivers for marketing photos and media use

· Create and manage school-level and cross-district playoff brackets

· Coordinate judges for Week 7 and Week 8, including scheduling and logistics

Competition Day Management

· Manage competition day execution, including awards and prize coordination

· Coordinate physical trophy transport and trophy placard order verification

· Oversee table setup, aisles, and venue layout

· Prepare and manage presentation slide deck collateral

· Coordinate keynote speaker logistics for competition day

· Build and manage the final agenda and run-of-show

· Coordinate internal media capture and district/local news engagement

· Send competition invitations to all participants

· Support day-of coordination with schools and districts

Post-Program Wrap-Up & Donor Follow-Through

· Distribute and collect all student and teacher post-program surveys

· Coordinate winning team donor management, including forms and ACH payments

· Support internal feedback synthesis for future program improvements

Qualifications

· Strong organizational and project management skills

· Ability to manage multiple stakeholders across schools, districts, and partners

· Excellent written and verbal communication

· High attention to detail and strong follow-through

· Ability to troubleshoot issues and adapt quickly in fast-paced program settings

· Comfortable operating in live events and school environments

· Comfort and experience working with high school students, educators, and community partners

· Experience with educational programs, youth programs, or events preferred
