    Position Overview

    As we grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage royalty accounting processes for Lids Sports Group and its subsidiaries in collaboration with licensee entities. This role involves working closely with various internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate royalty reporting and financial forecasts.     Key Responsibilities

    • Manage end-to-end royalty accounting procedures efficiently and precisely
    • Ensure accuracy of royalty data in the ERP system
    • Prepare royalty cash and expense forecasts
    • Compile and submit monthly and quarterly royalty reports
    • Handle royalty payment packages
    • Perform royalty amortization calculations and accruals
    • Monitor royalty agreements for compliance and timeliness

    Additional Responsibilities

    • Review contracts to verify calculation adherence
    • Maintain contract data accurately
    • Create regular management reports
    • Resolve royalty discrepancies in collaboration with licensors
    • Execute ad-hoc royalty-related tasks and reports

    Required Qualifications

    • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
    • Possess strong analytical and mathematical skills
    • Ability to handle large datasets with precision
    • Proficiency in Excel
    • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
    • Effective time management and prioritization skills
    • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity in communications
    • Embrace a collaborative work approach

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Prior experience in accounting roles
    • Familiarity with Microsoft D365 is a plus
