    Purpose:

    The Senior Corporate Paralegal will assist the Office of General Counsel in addressing all daily facets of corporate law with focus on governance and contract support.

    Essential Functions:

    • Draft corporate agendas, minutes, resolutions, and meeting materials
    • Organize and maintain legal and corporate files, policies, and procedures
    • Support the review and management of company contracts
    • Draft business entity and governance materials, non-disclosure and other agreements, correspondence, memoranda, and other documents
    • Respond to requests for information pertaining to legal, governance, and corporate records
    • Perform routine legal and factual research
    • Demonstrate the standards and principles of the Five Star Bank experience in every interaction with internal and external customers, associates, and stakeholders. Incorporate the high-performance behaviors of teamwork, leading by example, and service in every facet of work.
    Job Related Qualifications - Education and

    Prior Experience:

    Required:

    • Education: Associate degree in any subject from an institutionally accredited school

    Prior Experience: 7+ years of Paralegal Experience in Corporate setting

    • Licenses or Accreditation: Certified Paralegal.

    Preferred:

    • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Legal or Business Administration

    Prior Experience: 10+ years of Paralegal Experience in Corporate legal setting.

    • Licenses or Accreditation: Certified Paralegal.

    Competencies:

    • Proficiency using virtual data rooms to upload and organize documents
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Superb attention to detail and organizational skills
    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Ability to multitask a high volume of work

    Physical Requirements:

    • Able to regularly sit for prolonged periods of time.
    • Able to regularly stand for prolonged periods of time.
    • Extensive computer usage is required.
