    Job Title: Mammography Technologist at Albany Imaging

    About the Company: Join our team at Albany Imaging, a Women's Imaging Team serving the Capital District for over 35 years.

    • Sign-on Bonus: $6,000 offered for the selected candidate
    • Job Summary: Exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team specializing in Women's Imaging.

    We at Capital Imaging Associates are currently looking for a full-time mammographer to join our team.

    You will be an integral part of our unique Women's Imaging Team, working with advanced technologies like 3D mammography, Volpara breast density system, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and various biopsy techniques.

    We collaborate with over 170 local and regional women's healthcare providers and offer a competitive salary and benefits package.

    Essential Functions of a Mammography Tech:

    • Greet patients and confirm their identification, review imaging requests, and provide necessary instructions.
    • Conduct mammography studies, minimize radiation exposure, and maintain the quality of mammograms.
    • Ensure the proper operation of mammography equipment and maintain a safe work environment.
    • Document patient services accurately and stay updated with industry knowledge.

    Required Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
    • Completion of formal Radiologic technology training
    • Current BLS certification
    • ARRT or CRT certification
    • Mammographic Radiology Tech certified

    Preferred Education and Experience:

    • Proficiency in PC systems, tools, and applications
