    Position Purpose

    CRNA shall directly provide all professional anesthesiology services and/or supervise and manage anesthesiology services for the benefit of individual Hospital patients, as may be required to meet Hospital's requirements for such services in a timely manner through scheduled or "on call" coverage, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

    What You Will Do
    General anesthesia, including general surgical anesthesia, pediatric anesthesia, thoracic anesthesia and obstetrical anesthesia; intravenous sedation; intravenous regional anesthesia; regional blocks; and conductive anesthesia, as required by Hospital's patients (including inpatients, surgical outpatients and those receiving emergency care.)

    In addition, CRNA shall:
    Provide pre-evaluation anesthesia services in accordance with guidelines approved by both Group and Hospital.
    Provide post-surgical monitoring for complications related to the administration of anesthesia; and
    Respond promptly to those codes to which an anesthesia provider is specifically paged, as practitioner availability permits.

    Clinical Services provided by CRNA shall be performed in accordance with currently approved and generally accepted medical standards, as may be changed from time to time.

    Works collaboratively with members of the OR Leadership Team, Anesthesia Providers, and clinical staff.
    Minimum Qualifications
    Maintain professional licensure of CRNA.
    Preferred experience with minimum of five years as CRNA
    Must be BLS certified within 3 months of hire.
    Must be ACLS, PALS and NRP certified within one year of hire.
