- Test, inspect, investigate, and diagnose mechanical and electrical failures on customer and dealer units
- Repair units in a manner to minimize come-backs or create customer dissatisfaction
- Perform routine maintenance on all types of marine vehicles
- Perform safety inspection and recommend services
- Prepare new units for delivery to customers.
- Remove and replace OEM and aftermarket accessories and parts
- Seek-out opportunities to generate revenue while performing maintenance
- Perform lake tests as necessary
- Report billable labor hours to Service Manager
- Compile and submit parts requests to the Parts Advisor
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area
- Actively pursue and participate in continuing education activities
- Excellent knowledge of marine motor mechanics is ideal
- A minimum of 2 years as a mechanic in the marine, auto or powersports field is what we are looking for
- Able to interpret complex instructions and/or specification
- Knowledge and practice of shop safety procedures
- Detail-oriented while maintaining high productivity
- Ability to work Saturdays
- Shop environment that may require kneeling, bending, climbing, twisting, and lifting heavy objects.
- May be required to work more than 40 hours
- The position is Tuesday through Saturday - days off on Sunday and Monday

As a team member of the Performance PowerSports & Marine service team you will be challenged to use your vast knowledge in repairs to complete jobs in a professional, efficient and correct way. The position-holder is responsible for maintaining and repairing PWC engines along with outboard engines one day and the next you may be completing an oil change on a motorcycle or inspecting suspension on a side x side. Not experienced in all fields on repairs or products? No problem, we can train from there.
