    Job Description


    American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center requiring prior travel experience and strong vascular/endovascular skills.

    Responsibilities

    • Night shift schedule, 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week
    • Operating Room setting within a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center
    • Complex and high-volume trauma cases, including vascular and endovascular procedures
    • Block scheduling is not available for this position
    • Travelers are expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
    • Call and holiday coverage are required
    • No on-call requirement outside of scheduled shifts
    • This facility is a high-acuity, inner-city Level 1 trauma center known for complex, diverse, and severe surgical cases
    • Candidates should be prepared for an intense, high-pressure OR environment with significant trauma volume
    • Local candidates are accepted for this position
    • First-time travelers will not be considered for this role

    Requirements

    • Active RN license — Georgia (GA) or Compact license required
    • Current BLS certification required
    • Prior travel nursing experience required
    • Experience in a large-scale, high-volume Level 1 trauma center required
    • Proven background managing critical, fast-paced, high-acuity surgical cases
    • Strong vascular and endovascular OR experience required
    • Experience limited to small or low-volume hospitals will not be considered
