- Prenatal care: Conducting comprehensive prenatal assessments, monitoring fetal development, and educating patients on healthy pregnancy practices.
- Labor and delivery: Providing personalized care and support during childbirth, promoting natural birth when possible while ensuring the safety of both mother and baby.
- Postpartum care: Providing postpartum checkups, lactation support, and guidance on newborn care for mothers and their families.
- Women's health services: Offering routine gynecological care, including annual exams, contraception counseling, and management of common women's health concerns.
- An active license as a Certified Nurse Midwife (CNM) in the state of NY
- Have a NY state Medicaid ID number;
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a CNM in a clinical setting
- Demonstrated experience in providing comprehensive prenatal, labor & delivery, and postpartum care
- Strong clinical skills and experience in performing safe and effective deliveries
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fostering trust and building rapport with patients
- Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment
