- Experienced PNP-AC, NNP or Physician Assistant - At least 2 years of NICU Experience
- NC RN licensure & NC Nurse Practitioner or NC licensure as a Physician Assistant
- National Board Certification as a Pediatric NP-AC, Neonatal NP or as PA required, including maintenance
- 2+ years of experience in health care setting
- NNP and PNP-AC new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Applicants will be required to have BLS certification from The American Heart Association
- Growing 9-hospital healthcare system
- Schedule includes 10- 24/7 unrestricted call per month, as well as 24-hours of on-site coverage to support continued competency per month
- Clinical responsibilities when providing coverage will include rounding and coordination of care from admission to discharge for all newborn patients and attendance all at risk deliveries and participation in the resuscitation, stabilization, and transfer of critically ill neonates as needed
- Transfer support provided Medical Center
- PALS, BLS, and NRP certifications are required
- Close proximity to NC and VA beaches
