- Imaging procedures: Perform a wide range of advanced radiographic examinations, including X-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scans, and fluoroscopy, in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
- Patient positioning and safety: Ensure proper patient positioning for imaging procedures, taking into consideration patient comfort and safety. Implement radiation safety measures and shielding to minimize exposure for patients, staff, and yourself.
- Equipment operation and maintenance: Operate and maintain complex radiology equipment, including CT scanners, MRI machines, and other specialized imaging devices. Perform regular maintenance checks and troubleshoot technical issues as needed.
- Image analysis and interpretation:
Analyze and interpret radiographic images, collaborating closely with radiologists and physicians to provide accurate reports and assist in the diagnostic process.
