    Outpatient Registered Nurse

    Ambulatory nurses at UNM Hospitals provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process. Serve as clinical leader and mentor for staff while providing a full range of patient education. Assume relief charge duties. Under the direction of the shift supervisor, ensure adherence to hospital and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may cover neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups. Bilingual English/Spanish/Keres/Tewa/Tiwa/Towa/Zuni/Navajo is a plus.

    Requirements

    • Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program
    • Current RN license in New Mexico or other state with a reciprocal agreement
    • Current CPR certification for Healthcare/BLS Providers or Professional Rescuers
    • Able to lift heavy weights and work with hazardous materials
