The Designer will play a vital role in the development and management of electrical control drawing packages for industrial equipment. The Designer will work closely with sales, manufacturing, and quality teams, the Designer serves as a technical advisor and product advocate, ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the engineering process. Building strong relationships is crucial to success in this role.
The ideal candidate for the Electrical Control Drawing Designer position should have an Associates Degree in Applied Science with a concentration in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design (CADD), or equivalent experience of five years, along with demonstrated experience in AutoCAD and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Preferred qualifications include experience with SolidWorks, familiarity with basic electrical tools, project management experience, hands-on experience with controls wiring as well as experience in control cabinet and enclosure design.
