    Description

    Join Our Team at Boeing Commercial Airplanes as a Press Operator Hydraulic & Mechanic A!

    • Set up, operate and adjust mechanical and hydraulic presses to form materials such as composite, metal, and alloy
    • Fabricate, install, maintain and repair hydraulic systems, hardware, and equipment
    • Operate computer to access necessary information from prints, sketches, drawings, and specifications
    • Perform safety checks and ensure machine area is clear and safe
    • Move materials using appropriate equipment and ask for assistance when needed

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Fabrication, installation, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic systems and equipment
    • Operating equipment while following specifications and safety procedures
    • Setting up press cycle programs and performing necessary adjustments
    • Inspecting and troubleshooting tools, dies, and machinery
    • Cleaning parts, tools, and equipment as required

    This position requires standing, bending, and kneeling within an 8-hour shift and the ability to work in noisy environments.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 1+ years of experience with precision measuring tools and reading blueprints
    • 1+ years of experience operating a hydraulic press

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Ability to work in noisy environments
    • High school graduate or GED preferred

    Additional Information:

    • This position is located in Everett, WA, and Algona, WA
    • This is a 2nd shift position
