    Position Overview


    In this role, you will bring proven experience in designing and developing robust and scalable data pipelines, strong programming skills, familiarity with big data technologies, and a commitment to maintaining data quality throughout the entire data pipeline.

    Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, identify and mitigate risks, and optimize data pipeline performance will be crucial for the success of our innovative projects.

    What You'll Do


    Design and build scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources, including commercial utilization, medical devices, and electronic health records.

    Champion data-driven decision making across the organization.
    Develop and implement data quality tools and processes to ensure data integrity and reliability.
    Maintain and optimize existing data pipelines for performance and efficiency.
    Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data needs and design appropriate data models.
    Work with engineering teams to deploy and integrate data pipelines with other systems.
    Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the data engineering field.
    Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    What We're Looking For

    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    6+ years of experience as a Sr. Data Engineer or a related role.
    10+yrs in programming languages like Python, Java, or Scala.
    10+yrs with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
    10+yrs with data warehousing and SQL databases.
    10+yrs with big data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
    Understanding of data quality principles and practices.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
    Passion for the medtech industry and a desire to make a positive impact on healthcare.


    Bonus Points:
    Knowledge of machine learning and data science concepts.
    Experience with streaming data processing.
    Experience with healthcare data and regulations (HIPAA, GDPR).

    Compensation Range

    $170,000—$175,000 USD
