    As a Lead Infrastructure Engineer at JPMorgan Chase within Enterprise Technlogy, you apply deep knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline.

    Job responsibilities

    Applies technical expertise and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scopeDrives a workstream or project consisting of one or more infrastructure engineering technologiesWorks with other platforms to architect and implement changes required to resolve issues and modernize the organization and its technology processesExecutes creative solutions for the design, development, and technical troubleshooting for problems of moderate complexityStrongly considers upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications and advises on mitigation actionsAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respectPerforms infrastructure engineering in accordance with business requirementsDrives results and implements multiple complex programsExecutes according to compliance standards involving risk, security and business objectivesAdvises junior engineers and technologistsRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    Formal training or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experienceDeep knowledge of one or more areas of infrastructure engineering such as hardware, networking terminology, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, integration, automation, scaling, resilience, or performance assessmentsDeep knowledge of one specific infrastructure technology and scripting languages (e.g., Scripting, Python, etc.)Drives to continue to develop technical and cross-functional knowledge outside of the productDeep knowledge of cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies with the ability to operate in and migrate across public and private cloudsExperience in developing test lab solutions and performing testing in remote lab facilities for implementation best practicesExperience and understanding of Agille methodologyDevelopment and design experience with complex networks on a global scale consisting of over 10,000+ devicesStrong leadership, execution and project management skills in implementing changes and new standardsExperience in collaborating and influencing technical and non-technical audiences and stakeholdersStrong written and verbal communicationsPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    Experience with Network protocols (TCP/IP, MPLS, NAT, BGP4, OSPF, DNS, VPN, and WiFi)Experience or certified (CCNP, CCDP and CCIE)Managing budgetsFinancial and Banking industry experience in a large scale environment
