    Deere & Company is seeking a Software Engineer in Johnston, IA with the following requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or a related field plus 3 years related experience


    Required skills:

    Hands on experience implementing various software engineering architectural patterns including Model View Controller (MVC), Singleton, Factory and Event driven patterns (3 yrs); Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications in Cloud including the ability to script infrastructure as code using Terraform (2 yrs); Automate build and deployment pipelines for continuous integration and delivery of the software using Jenkins, GitHub and build tools like Maven (2 yrs); Hands on experience working in a Scrum team and implementing the principles of scrum including Collaboration, Self-Organization, Value-based prioritization, Iterative development (3 yrs).

    Must live within normal commuting distance of the worksite. 50% remote work allowed.
