    Certifications:

    • CNA License required.

    Position Summary: The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides essential care and support to patients in a healthcare setting. This role is crucial for ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients by assisting with daily activities, monitoring vital signs, and collaborating with the healthcare team. The CNA will perform various tasks to support the nursing staff and contribute to the overall care and recovery of patients.

    Responsibilities:

    • Patient Care: Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
    • Patient Movement: Help patients with turning, repositioning, and transferring to ensure comfort and prevent pressure injuries.
    • Medical Supplies: Gather and prepare medical supplies as needed for patient care.
    • Feeding and Documentation: Feed patients and monitor their food and liquid intake, documenting consumption accurately.
    • Vital Signs: Check and record vital signs such as blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature.
    • Patient Monitoring: Observe patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the nursing staff.
    • Patient Interaction: Communicate effectively with patients, providing compassionate care and emotional support.
    • Collaborative Care: Work closely with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care for patients.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Experience: Minimum of one year of experience as a CNA in a healthcare setting.
    • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in performing tasks such as taking vital signs and providing patient care.
    • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and thoroughness in documenting patient information.
    • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
